Smart TV Remote - Cast to TV ("App", "we", "us", "our") explains how information is handled when you use the iOS app.
This app is designed to discover compatible devices on your local network and cast/control media playback (for example Chromecast/Google TV, Roku, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, Apple TV, Vizio, DLNA devices).
1. Information We Process
A. Device and Media Access on iOS
- Local Network access: Used to discover TVs/devices and communicate with them on your Wi-Fi network.
- Photo Library access (read): Used only so you can select local media to cast.
We do not run our own cloud media storage for your personal local media files.
B. Analytics and Diagnostics
The App integrates:
- Firebase Analytics (Google)
- Microsoft Clarity
These services may process usage and diagnostic data according to their own policies.
C. Advertising
The app integrates Google AdMob. Ad providers may process advertising identifiers, device/network signals, and ad interaction events for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
D. Web Cast and URL Processing
When you use Web Cast, social URL extraction, or IPTV features, URLs/playlist links you provide may be requested by:
- destination websites/services,
- casting/player endpoints,
- extraction endpoints used by the feature flow.
E. Remote Config
The app fetches ad configuration from:
https://xanong.b-cdn.net/IOS/test_ad.json
Network requests include normal network metadata (for example IP/network headers) handled by your ISP/network/CDN path.
2. Permissions We Do Not Request on iOS
- Camera
- Microphone
- Contacts
- SMS
- Precise GPS location
3. How Information Is Used
We process data to:
- discover and connect to compatible devices,
- cast media and provide remote-control functions,
- operate ads (if enabled),
- monitor app performance and improve reliability.
4. Data Sharing
Data may be shared with third-party processors only as needed to operate app features:
- Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob),
- Microsoft (Clarity),
- websites/content providers you access,
- service endpoints involved in casting/extraction/playback.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Storage and Retention
- Some operational data (for example paired devices, app settings, IPTV entries) may be stored locally on your device.
- Analytics/ads retention is controlled by their respective providers under their own policies.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
8. Your Choices
You can:
- manage permissions in iOS Settings,
- reset app data by uninstalling/reinstalling,
- manage ad/privacy controls provided by iOS and participating ad services.
If required permissions are denied, related features may not work.
