Privacy Policy for Mirror Cast Remote Control

Mirror Cast Remote Control ("App", "we", "us", "our") describes how information is handled when you use the App.

This App is designed to cast and control media across devices on your local network (for example: Chromecast/Google TV, Roku, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, Apple TV, Vizio, DLNA devices).

1. Information We Process

A. Media and Device Access (on your device)

• Photos / Videos / Audio files: Used only to let you browse and cast files you choose.
• Camera and Microphone: Used only for camera/screen mirroring features when you start them.
• Local network / Wi-Fi information: Used to discover TVs/devices and communicate with them.
• Notifications (Android): Used for foreground service notifications during active mirroring/casting.

We do not run our own cloud media storage for your personal photos/videos/audio files.

B. Analytics and Diagnostics

The App integrates:

• Firebase Analytics (Google)
• Microsoft Clarity

These services may collect usage and device-level analytics data (for example app screens/events, app diagnostics, identifiers) according to their own policies.

C. Advertising

The App integrates Google AdMob. Ad providers may collect data such as advertising identifiers and network/device signals to deliver and measure ads, subject to their policies and your platform settings.

D. Web Casting / URL Processing

When you use Web Cast or social URL extraction features, the URLs you provide may be requested/processed by:

• the destination website/service itself,
• casting protocols and player endpoints,
• third-party extraction endpoints used by the App for certain public social/video links.

If you add IPTV credentials/playlist links, those credentials/URLs are used to fetch and play the content you request.

E. Remote Config

The App fetches ad configuration from a remote JSON endpoint. This request includes normal network metadata (for example IP/network headers) handled by your network path and CDN/provider.

2. What We Do Not Intentionally Collect

• We do not ask for contact list, SMS, or precise GPS location permissions.
• We do not intentionally upload your personal local media library to our own servers for storage.

3. How Information Is Used

We process data to:

• discover and pair with compatible devices,
• cast local/web/IPTV content you request,
• provide remote control features,
• measure app performance and usage,
• show ads (if enabled),
• improve app reliability and user experience.

4. Data Sharing

Data may be shared with third-party service providers only as needed to operate features:

• Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob, Cast-related components),
• Microsoft (Clarity),
• content/stream providers and websites you access,
• social/video extraction endpoints used by the feature flow.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Storage and Retention

• Some operational data (for example paired device info, app settings, IPTV playlist/account settings) may be stored locally on your device.
• Retention of analytics/ads data is governed by the respective third-party providers.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Your Choices

You can:

• deny or revoke permissions in device settings,
• clear app data or uninstall the App,
• manage ad/privacy controls available on your platform (for example advertising ID settings).

Some features may not work without required permissions.
