This Privacy Policy describes how the IP Network Scanner - NetRadar mobile application ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.
IP Network Scanner - NetRadar is a network utility. To deliver its core features it works with the following information entirely on your device:
The App does not ask for, collect, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone audio, camera images, precise location, browsing history, or files outside its own sandbox.
INTERNET — to run speed tests against Cloudflare, to fetch the
remote ad configuration, and to serve advertisements via Google AdMob.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and ACCESS_WIFI_STATE — to detect
whether you are on Wi-Fi and to determine the local subnet to scan.CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE — to receive mDNS/SSDP packets used to
discover devices on your Wi-Fi network. The App only sends the following information off your device:
speed.cloudflare.com
and 1.1.1.1 (latency probes). These are anonymous network
requests; we do not attach any account identifier.Scan results from your local network are never uploaded. They exist only in memory and in on-device caches you can clear from the Settings screen.
The App displays banner and interstitial advertisements through Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK collects information as described in Google's Advertising policies and Privacy Policy. This may include your Android Advertising ID, coarse approximate location derived from IP, device model, and ad-interaction events.
You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device's Settings → Google → Ads menu.
The App does not bundle any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK beyond what the Google Mobile Ads SDK requires for ad delivery.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
All scan data, device labels, and preferences are stored locally on your device and persist until you clear them (Settings → "Clear remembered names") or uninstall the App.
Because we do not collect personal information on a server, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf — uninstalling the App removes everything it knows about you. For data held by Google in connection with ad serving, please refer to Google's privacy documentation.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how IP Network Scanner - NetRadar handles information, please contact the developer via the email listed on the App's Google Play store page.
